Derpy Hooves is a pegasus mare working for the EPO, she always strives to do her best and not disappoint her boss and friends though thanks to her ditzy behavior and overly trusting attitude oftentimes get her in trouble.
In her time working as a mailpony Derpy ended up exploring a lot of corners of many cities and remembers where people live for the most part, especially if they were nice to her in the past.
Skills and Abilities[]
Winged Flight: Like most Pegasi Derpy can fly at surprising speeds for a long time while carrying a lot of weight.
Weather Manipulation: Like most Pegasi Derpy has the ability to interact with and manipulate the clouds, able to use them as a very comfortable bed or as an impromptu tool for a prank or as a hiding space, the possibilities are limitless or rather the sky is the limit.
Personality[]
Derpy is a loving and kind-hearted soul to anyone who is not mean or makes fun of her in some ways. She is very sensitive and insecure about her eyes and clumsiness as well, understanding that she is indeed different from other ponies in some ways which is most likely the reason she tries so hard to do a good job as a Mailmare.
However, once you have befriended her you could not ask for a better friend, one day you may find her at your doorsteps with a surprise basket of various actually edible baked goods when you're lucky.
Derpy does not enjoy confrontation or violence, often choosing to flee the scene and escape the crossfire whenever possible though should the circumstance present itself she may put herself in danger for a friend!
In casual conversation Derpy actually shows a surprising amount of profound perception, able to see when someone is distressed and sad or attempts to hide something from her, oftentimes she doesn't quite know what to do with said information however, resorting to simple attempts to try and cheer the person up somehow.
