Kon-el, also known as Conner Kent, or Superboy is a clone created using the DNA of Lex Luthor and Superman. Implanted with all the knowledge needed for someone his biological age, Superboy was freed by the "News Boy Legion" before he could be aged to adulthood and have control failsafes implanted into his body. A year after he appeared in Rigel Prima, he'd joined the Riftguard as it's 16th member.
Skills and Abilities[]
- Superboy has the standard abilities expected of a Kryptonian, which include flight, super strength etc.
- Due to his status as a hybrid, he's still harmed by kryptonite, but less so, adversely it's not as easy for his body to absorb Yellow Sun light to fuel his powers, and so if he over-taxes himself, his cells would try to use themselves as a fuel source causing him to die.
- Tactile Telekinesis, Superboy can form a "TK Field" around his body, before his Kryptonian pwoers developed, his TK Field was used to replicate most of Superman's powers.

Personality[]
Formerly showoffy and headstrong, Conner's experiences have left an impact on him that show him to be more responsible with his powers than he'd been in the past. Although mature in the use of his powers, Conner can still be extraordinarily immature among his friends, frequently playing practical jokes and teasing them. Conner is very much a kid at heart, but knows how to face stress and crisises head on when they arise.

Arriving to Rigel Prima via Rift in 2011, Conner found himself rather lost as he wandered confused in the town. For approximately a year he performed a series of vigilante activities, before in 2012, Joining the Riftguard as Riftguard #16.
