Andreas Vesalius owns the shop Vesalius' Flowers & Funerals in the Town. He also happens to be a practicer of the dark arts of necromancy.
Skills and Abilities[]
- Necromancy: Vesalius' brand of necromancy deals with the manipulation of life force. He cannot make life out of nothing; it must be transferred from one place to another. He has a large reserve of life forcce imbued within his person. It takes a different amount of this to do different things; to reanimate a wilted flower is much simpler than reanimating a dead body. Even when he animates a body, it does not have any of the memories it did when it was alive, and it functions as a classic zombie that can obey simple commands such as "guard this area" or "attack this person". He can resurrect a person, but that requires life force equivalent to that of another young adult, as well as the original soul of the person to be resurrected. Even then, he doesn't like to do it.
- Basic Magic: He has studied the cantrips and prestidigitations of wizardy. He can use basic telekinesis, illuminate small areas, warm/cool small objects, and amplify/muffle sounds, in addition to simple combat magic like small fireballs, sparks, a bullet of force, and a ray of frost.
- Medical Knowledge: Through years and years and years of experience, Vesalius has gained adequate medical knowledge. He knows how the body works and how to get it working again when it's not.
- Botany: You learn a thing or two about plants when you're a florist.
